Emigracioni i parregullt dhe rritja e kërkesave për azil ka detyruar ministrin holandez të Emigracionit, Mark Harbers të vizitojë Shqipërinë. Të hënën ai do të zhvillojë takime me ministrin e Brendshëm, Sandër Lleshaj dhe Drejtorin e Përgjithshëm të Policisë, Ardi Veliu.
Statistikat tregojnë se numri i shqiptarëve që aplikojnë për azil është rritur ndjeshëm në 2018-ën, pavarësisht se Shqipëria konsiderohet si vend i sigurt origjine. Po ashtu, është rritur ndjeshëm numri i shqiptarëve që përdorin portet holandeze për të shkuar drejt Anglisë, çka ka detyruar autoritetet të marrin masa shtesë.
Pak ditë më parë, gazeta ‘De Telegraaf’ raportonte se tre parti holandeze, respektivisht Partia Socialiste, Partia për Liri dhe Partia Demokristiane kërkojnë rikthimin e vizave për shkak të rritjes së kriminalitetit në vendin e tyre.
Fenomeni mund të ndikojë negativisht në vendimin që do japë Hollanda për hapjen ose jo të negociatave të Shqipëtisë në fund të muajit Qershor.

Did you know that the number of Albanian citizens applying for asylum in the Netherlands rose slightly again last year?In 2018 all asylum applications by Albanian citizens were turned down because Albania is classified as a safe country and poverty or unemployment is no basis for asylum protection.
